LAS VEGAS (CN) - Dominick Dunne was rushed to the hospital today while covering the O.J. Simpson trial. Dunne, who is battling bladder cancer and covering the trial for Vanity Fair magazine, complained that he was in pain. N.D.
From the hospital, Dunne, 82, told CNN over the telephone that he was "doing fine under the circumstances."
The writer came to Las Vegas to write about Simpson's robbery trial against doctors' orders. Dunne covered Simpson's previous criminal and civil trials. He also reported on several other high-profile trials over the years, including the Menendez brothers' murder trials.
Dunne has said Simpson's latest legal battle would probably be his last story.
