Dog attack

CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Nevada Supreme Court ruled in favor of PetSmart in a suit brought by a man who was attacked by a dog his wife adopted during an event at the store. The couple later learned the dog had been adopted and returned several times due to its violent behavior, but the store can’t be held liable because it didn’t assume a duty of care or have an “agency relationship” with the animal welfare organization.
