A federal judge has refused to dismiss Planned Parenthood’s challenge to an Idaho law mandating early abortions be done by physicians only, finding the health care provider has adequately shown the law would place “an obstacle in women's path to seeking an abortion” in violation of the 14th Amendment.

BOISE – A federal judge refused Wednesday to dismiss a challenge of Idaho's mandate that only physicians perform early abortions, saying Planned Parenthood adequately showed the law would place “an obstacle in women's path to seeking an abortion” in violation of the 14th Amendment.
