NEW HAVEN (CN) - Dr. Peter Plasse, an Indian Health Services doctor, says another doctor, his supervisor, threatened his life for exposing a drug-trafficking ring of medical professionals at the Quentin Burdick Memorial Hospital in Belcourt, N.D.
Plasse, who is on leave from Belcourt while his complaints are investigated, sued the IHS and the Department of Human Services in Federal Court, for ordering him transferred to the IHS facility at Rockville, Md., where, he says, one of the doctors who threatened his life works.
