LAS VEGAS (CN) - Dr. Ivan Goldsmith claims Jeff Beacher defamed him and his "Trimcare" weight-loss clinic by saying on a TV show Goldsmith "is a shady doctor" whose treatments "shut down his liver" and "almost killed him."
Goldsmith claims that Beacher said, falsely, on TV, on the Internet and in print "that he almost died as a result of being treated by Goldsmith."
Beacher is described as a "producer" on some Internet sites. He allegedly made the first three defamatory statements above on the "Mike and Juliet Morning Show."
Goldsmith is represented in Clark County Court by E. Brent Bryson.
