Disney Visitor Tossed for Riding Too Many Times

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (CN) - A season ticketholder sued Walt Disney World for breach of contract and false arrest, claiming it threw her out of Walt Disney World because she rode the Tower of Terror too many times. Denise Mooty says the ride helps treat her abdominal adhesions, and as a season ticketholder she should be able to ride it as many times as she wants.

Mooty says that for 4 years she "religiously" rode the Tower of Terror "every Saturday dozens of times to help alleviate her medical condition, her pain associated with it, and minimize the number of surgeries she required as a result."

She says Disney pulled the plug in February 2008, when she was told she could no longer use the alternate entrance that helps her avoid a long slog up a hill.

Mooty sued in Osceola County Court, and also alleges intentional infliction of emotional distress. She is represented by Jeremiah Jaspon of Orlando.
