Discrimination Action

In an employment discrimination action filed in state court, plaintiff says her supervisor ignored her request for accommodations when she returned to work after taking time off due to depression and anxiety.
Her complaint says she was then written up for poor attendance when she took time off to care for her son, who required care twenty four hours a day for one week, and she was later accused of being a “no-show” even though defendant knew she had switched shifts with another employee. She was then fired.
