LOS ANGELES — An appeals court in California dismissed a challenge to the state’s Disaster Relief Assistance for Immigrants Project, which helped undocumented residents affected by the pandemic who were ineligible for unemployment and disaster relief. The appeal is moot because the spending associated with the project has already occurred and “there is no indication it will be reauthorized.”
