NEW ORLEANS — The Fifth Circuit affirmed the convictions of Walter Reed, who had been the longtime district attorney of St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, and his son, Steve Reed, for conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering.
Walter Reed was sentenced to four years in prison, but allowed to remain out on appeal.
