New Jersey and Connecticut sued EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler in federal court for failing to comply with his mandatory duty to make findings of failure to submit state implementation plans that comply with the Good Neighbor provision of the Clean Air Act, to reduce out-of-state air pollution blowing into their airsheds.

WASHINGTON — New Jersey and Connecticut brought a federal complaint over EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler's failure to make findings of failure with regard to state implementation plans to reduce out-of-state air pollution blowing into their airsheds, required under the Good Neighbor provision of the Clean Air Act.
