SACRAMENTO, Calif. – DirecTV agreed to pay California $9.5 million to settle claims its 25 facilities in the Golden State dumped hazardous materials like electronics and batteries into dumpsters that ended up in landfills, state Attorney General Xavier Becerra said Wednesday.
