Diplomat Indictment

MANHATTAN (CN) - Here is the grand jury indictment of Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade, who is charged with visa fraud and making false statements.

Khobragade left the United States after complaining to the media that she had been strip searched by New York City police.

Police called it standard protocol for an arrest. Khobragade is accused of lying to the United States to bring in a maid, whom she exploited and underpaid.

The Indian diplomat has left the United States.
