Dillard’s Accused Of Racist Practices

KANSAS CITY, KAN. (CN) - Dillard's fired a black worker because she complained about the company's policy to have security workers follow black customers, search their bags, refuse them refunds, send videotape surveillance tapes of black shoppers to other stores, refer to black shoppers as "suspects" rather than customers, and use similar, offensive tactics against black employees, Yolanda Kerr claims in Federal Court. See complaint.
