ATLANTA (CN) - The National Renal Alliance claims Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, the state's largest health insurer, violates federal law by preventing dialysis patients from using out-of-network providers for their life-sustaining care. Dozens of dialysis centers also claim that "Blue Cross has targeted the dialysis industry for a drastic and unprecedented slash in reimbursement to a mere 12% of usual and customary charges."
