DHS & ICE Accused of Racial Retaliation

SAN DIEGO (CN) - Two hours after he provided truthful evidence about a fellow agent's racial discrimination complaint, the Department of Homeland Security began retaliating against him, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Daryl Christensen claims in Federal Court.

Christensen, a border patrol agent at Calexico, claims DHS and ICE retaliated for his truthful testimony about the racial discrimination claim of ICE agent Donald Webster.

Christensen says he spoke for 5 hours to an ICE contract investigator on March 2, 2006. He says his testimony substantiated agent Webster's claim. Two hours later, Christensen says, his boss began the campaign of retaliation.

Christensen is represented by Mark Edelman.
