LOS ANGELES (CN) - In the latest unconstitutional mass abuse of immigrants, DHS and ICE agents arrested more than 100 people in a factory raid in the San Fernando Valley on Feb. 7 and refused to allow attorneys from the National Lawyers Guild to be present at their interrogations, the Guild claims in Federal Court. At least one arrested worker, named plaintiff Evencio Olivares, already was represented by a Guild lawyer, but the government barred him from seeing his attorney, then tried to coerce him into admissions to be used against him, the Guild says.
