DHS Demanded Passport & Assaulted Him|On Trio From Laredo To Austin, Citizen Says

LAREDO (CN) - DHS agents assaulted and battered a U.S. citizen at a Border Patrol checkpoint, forcing him to be hospitalized, after he told them he did not have a passport, while he traveled, wholly within the United States, on a Greyhound bus from Laredo to Austin, the man claims in Federal Court.

Fulgencio de la Fuente says DHS agents forced him off the bus, falsely imprisoned him, and assaulted him when he refused to be fingerprinted. He is represented by Javier Maldonado of San Antonio.
