Desk Discovery Not Harassment

An Illinois appeals court ruled against a former employee of a community college who claimed she was fired for reporting sexual harassment after she found pornographic pictures in a colleague’s desk drawer. The former employee did not have permission to access the desk and the colleague never committed any overt acts of sexual harassment toward her.
