Democrat Wants Primary Date Moved Back

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. (CN) - The Michigan Democratic Party has unconstitutionally precluded Barack Obama, John Edwards, Bill Richardson and Joe Biden from appearing on the presidential primary ballot, and violated the plaintiff's voting rights, because the Party moved up its primary from Feb. 9 to Jan. 15, 2008, Martha Hayes, a Democrat, claims in Federal Court.
