Deliberate Indifference

A federal court in Colorado ruled that a nurse is not entitled to qualified immunity in a dispute brought by a pre-trial detainee, who claims the nurse was deliberately indifferent to his condition – later diagnosed as ocular syphilis – and falsely reported that he was fine.
