‘Deep Throat’ Dies

W. Mark Felt, the associate director of the FBI who secretly fed information to reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, eventually forcing President Nixon to resign in disgrace, has died at 95, his family said. Woodward and Bernstein protected the identity of Felt, whom they referred to as "Deep Throat," for more than 30 years, until Felt decided to reveal the secret in 2005.
