NASHVILLE (CN) - A strip-club DJ who sued Kid Rock in 2005, claiming the singer punched him out for playing songs he didn't like, sued the rocker again, seeking $500,000 in damages. The first lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice, DJ Jeremy Campos claims in Davidson County Court.
Campos says he was working in the DJ booth at Christie's Cabaret in February 2005 when Kid Rock punched him out at 3 a.m.
Campos says Kid Rock (Robert James Ritchie) shoved him "with great force and violence," then punched him in the face, "causing severe, disabling and permanent injuries."
"Thereafter and without apology, the defendant fled from the scene to whereabouts unknown," according to the complaint.
Campos and his wife want $50,000 in compensatory damages and $500,000 in punitive damages. They are represented by W.H. "Steve" Stephenson II.
