Death in Jail

There is a genuine issue of fact as to whether a nurse recommended that a man — who died from suicide while in jail in San Diego County — be transferred to a medical observation cell, the Ninth Circuit ruled, reviving a suit against the nurse and Correctional Physicians Medical Group.

SAN FRANCISCO — There is a genuine issue of fact as to whether a nurse recommended that a man — who killed himself while jailed in San Diego County — be transferred to a medical observation cell, the Ninth Circuit ruled, reviving a suit against the nurse and Correctional Physicians Medical Group.
