Deadly crash

BANGOR, Maine — A federal court in Maine denied a delivery company’s effort to prevail on a widow’s negligence and wrongful death claims against it after a box truck driver hit her car head-on, killing her husband and injuring her. It is not evident that the employee was acting in his personal capacity, rather than in the scope of his employment, at the time.
