‘Dazed and Confused’ Ain’t the Half of It

PHOENIX (CN) - "Dazed and Confused" actor Jason London claims in court that bouncers at a Scottsdale nightclub beat the hell out of him - but not badly enough to stop him from roundly cursing police officers who took him to jail, according to a police report.

London and his wife Sofia sued Martini Ranch, its managers and its corporate officers in Maricopa County Court on Tuesday.

London claims he was at Martini Ranch in January 2013 when its bouncers grabbed him and beat him.

"While the assault took place against plaintiff Jason London, the other Martini Ranch employees including, but not limited to, bartenders and other members of the security team and/or bouncers, failed to make any attempt to stop the assault or protect or come to the aid of plaintiff Jason London from the aggressors," the lawsuit states.

London was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after he was thrown out of the club, according to a police report .

London later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, and the assault charge was dropped. He was ordered to attend an alcohol treatment class and to pay $118 in court costs.

According to the police report, a witness told police that bouncers were "heavy handed" with London, who was accused of sneezing on and then punching a man in the face.

One of the alleged victims - a 26-year-old bouncer - told police that the bouncers "had to defend themselves" against London, who was still fighting them when they took him outside of the club.

When the Scottsdale police officer who took London to jail asked him what had happened that night, London told him, "Fuck you! You won't do shit for me, you fucking hillbilly!" according to the police report.

London "showed obvious signs and symptoms of extreme alcohol impairment," the report states.

During the ride from the nightclub to jail, London told the police officer: "Guess what, faggot? I fucking love this! I fucking own you guys so hard. I'm rich and I'm a motherfucking famous actor! Fucking look me up, bitch!" according to the report.

The report claims the officer watched as London leaned to one side and defecated in his pants, telling the officer, "I told you that I'm happy as shit!"

The injuries allegedly caused by Martini Ranch bouncers can be seen in a mugshot widely circulated after London's arrest, in which London's right eye appears bruised and swollen.

The Londons seek punitive damages for negligence.

They are represented by Aaron Crane, with Lerner & Rowe.
