PASADENA, Calif. – A Ninth Circuit panel on Thursday upheld dismissal of retaliation claims brought against Sony Pictures Television by actress Victoria Rowell, finding the studio’s refusal to rehire her on “The Young and the Restless” was because there were no parts for her to play, not because she’d pushed for more minority inclusion on the show.
