BROOKLYN, N.Y. (CN) - The owner of Umka Day Care grabbed a 4-year-old girl by the tongue and, with a pair of scissors in her hand, threatened to cut off the girl's tongue, parents claim in Kings County Court. They also accuse Svetlana Smuzina of using corporal punishment, allowing their children to hit each other and swear, and leaving the kids with her "elderly, sickly non-licensed mother."
The parents want their money back, plus punitive damages. They are represented by Jay Stuart Dankberg in New York.
