WASHINGTON (CN) - The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed designating 53 river miles of critical habitat for certain darters and other fish, in Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas.
The fish for which the agency is designating critical habitat under the Endangered Species Act are the Cumberland darter, rush darter, yellowcheek darter, chucky madtom, and laurel dace.
