D.C. Circuit

PUBLIC RECORD - An immigrant who could not get a visa in Mexico because she was under investigation for money laundering in the United States filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the Drug Enforcement Agency, which refused to turn over files related to the investigation. The D.C. Circuit dismissed her challenge, ruling that the records were related to an ongoing criminal investigation.
