CVS Settlement

Settling claims that some of its Rhode Island stores filled invalid prescriptions, CVS Pharmacy reached a $535,000 settlement Tuesday with federal prosecutors.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Settling claims that some of its Rhode Island stores filled invalid prescriptions, CVS Pharmacy reached a $535,000 settlement Tuesday with federal prosecutors.

The United States counted a total of 39 forged prescriptions for Percocet, a Schedule II narcotic, filled at the pharmacies.
