CVS Settlement

Settling claims that some of its Rhode Island stores filled invalid prescriptions, CVS Pharmacy reached a <strong><a href="https://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/cvs-ri.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="$535,000 settlement (opens in a new tab)">$535,000 settlement</a></strong> Tuesday with federal prosecutors.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Settling claims that some of its Rhode Island stores filled invalid prescriptions, CVS Pharmacy reached a $535,000 settlement Tuesday with federal prosecutors.

The United States counted a total of 39 forged prescriptions for Percocet, a Schedule II narcotic, filled at the pharmacies.
