Curse of the Mummy Race

GENEVA, Ill. (CN) - A man has sued his church for pain and suffering after he fell and struck "his head and face with great force and violence" while wrapped from head to ankles with toilet paper and Saran wrap in a "mummy race" during the church's Youth Night.

Donald Waltmire claims the Highland Fellowship Church, of Elgin, left only "small openings for the eyes" after wrapping him and the other contestants in the hopping race. He fell and bonked his head. He seeks more than $50,000 for pain and suffering and his wife seeks damages for loss of consortium. They are represented in Kane County Court by Frank Christian.
