‘CSI’ Toy Contains Asbestos, Class Claims

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Fingerprint powder in the "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" toy contains asbestos that children could inhale, according to a federal class action against CBS TV.

The defendants in the Los Angeles case are CBS TV and Hammacher Schlemmer. A similar claim - not a class action - has been filed in L.A. Superior Court, against CBS, Planet Toys, Amazon.com, Costco, Sears dba Kmart, Toys R Us, QVC, and Walgreen.
