WILMINGTON, N.C. — A federal court in Wilmington partially granted a bitcoin investment firm’s motion to dismiss breach of contract and bad faith counterclaims brought by one of the firm’s partners, whose conversion claim survives the motion. He says his access to a cryptocurrency trading platform, where he stored more than $220,000 in personal investments, was blocked by the company.
