Cruise Ship Accident

The Eleventh Circuit reversed a ruling in favor of Carnival Cruise Lines in a negligence case brought by the mother of a three-year-old who suffered head injuries on a ship after falling from Deck 14 onto Deck 12. A reasonable jury could find the company had notice of the danger of climbable railings. 

ATLANTA — The 11th Circuit reversed a ruling in favor of Carnival Cruise Lines in a negligence case brought by the mother of a 3-year-old who suffered head injuries on a ship after falling from Deck 14 onto Deck 12. A reasonable jury could find the company had notice of the danger of climbable railings.
