Critical Habitat Designated|for Threatened Candlefish

WASHINGTON (CN) - The Pacific eulachon, or candlefish, will get almost 300 miles of rivers and streams in Oregon, Washington and California as designated critical habitat, according to the National Marine Fisheries Service.

The agency listed the smelt as threatened under the Endangered Species Act early last year.
