Credit Union Supervisor Gets 18 Months

SAN DIEGO (CN) - A former credit union supervisor on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton was sentenced Monday to 18 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution. A jury convicted Erin Lovelette, 31, of stealing $100,000 from the Pacific Marine Credit Union in a "brick" of $100 bills, and structuring deposits into her bank accounts to duck the $10,000 limit requiring filing of a currency transaction report.
