Covid-19 orders

CINCINNATI — The Sixth Circuit upheld the dismissal of a suit challenging several Covid-19-related executive orders issued by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The residents' claims are moot as Whitmer has rescinded the orders after the Michigan Supreme Court found she did not have standing to issue them, and the plaintiffs' damages claim is against defendants only in their official capacity and barred by sovereign immunity.
