Court Tells U.S. To Pay Builders $6.5 Million

WASHINGTON (CN) - The government must reimburse four Colorado homebuilders $6.5 million for the direct and unabsorbed overhead costs of cleaning up asbestos on land they bought from the U.S. Air Force, the Court of Federal ruled. The companies may not recover legal fees, mark-up or profit.
