(CN) - An Arizona judge on Tuesday ordered Sheriff Joe Arpaio to stop demanding that inmates prepay his office for transportation and security costs before they can have an abortion.
Arpaio had agreed to abide by terms of a 2005 court order, then decided to charge inmates who sought abortions, though he did not charge for security or transportation for any other medical services, according to the complaint.
