NASHVILLE (CN) - A property owner may gain access to more of his homeowners' association's financial records after a ruling by the Court of Appeals of Tennessee.
Will Myers sued the Hidden Valley Lakes Trustees, alleging that they were violating Tennessee law as well as their own bylaws.
After the homeowners provided Myers with financial documents and a list of property owners, the trial court considered Myers' case moot.
Judge Lee confirmed the trial court's judgment, but remanded the case for the trial court to decide whether Myers is entitled to an audit of financial reports for the years 1996 to 2004.
