Court not convinced of antisemitism at Haverford

PHILADELPHIA — A federal court in Pennsylvania, though careful not to minimize “the extent to which Jewish students in the tumult of the current global and political climate might feel profound discomfort,” rules against a Jewish student group at Haverford College that sued the school under Title VI. The students’ allegations either center on First Amendment-protected speech, or did not show the college acted with deliberate indifference nor allege “concrete deprivation” of their educations. They may conduct discovery on a breach-of-contract claim, however.
