Court Ends Drama Over MJB’s ‘Family Affair’

(CN) - The 6th Circuit nixed the copyright drama around singer Mary J. Blige's album "No More Drama" by supporting a lower court ruling that she did not steal the song "Family Affair" from a demo tape sent to her recording company. Leonard Jones and James White claimed that Universal-MCA Music Publishing gave Blige access to their song "Party Ain't Crunk."
