Court can’t order Gazan evacuations

CHICAGO — A federal court in Illinois dismisses a complaint brought by U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents from Palestine who sought an order to force the federal government to evacuate them and family members from Gaza. The court does not have the authority to review evacuation decisions made by the executive branch.
