Couple Sues Mass Mutual For $1.3 Million

PORTLAND, ORE. (CN) - While working for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. and its wholly owned subsidiary MML Investors Service, securities salesman Charles Wesley Rhodes stole $1.3 million from an Oregon couple, they claim in Federal Court.

They say the securities frauds occurred from 1995 to 1998, and though the SEC has sued Rhodes, they are unlikely to get the money from him, so they demand it from Mass Mutual.
