Countrywide Faces Employee Class Action

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Countrywide invaded privacy and inflicted emotional distress on 300 employees by naming them as "warned for poor performance or terminated" on emails sent to 1,000 other Countrywide employees, a class-action complaint claims in Superior Court. Plaintiffs worked as account executives in Countrywide's Western Division "Full Spectrum Lending Division," the complaint states. They are represented by the Davis Law Group of Malibu.
