Cough Up The $50, Class Tells Circuit City

CHICAGO (CN) - Circuit City promised $50 rebates on every $89 "digital picture frame" a customer bought, but delivered the rebate on only one, a class action claims in Federal Court.

The named plaintiff claims class damages exceed $5 million.

Named plaintiff Clayton Voegtle says Circuit City employees specifically stated that the rebates would be given on each picture frame. He bought three of them, and the company denied two rebates as "duplicate" claims, he says.

Plaintiffs are represented by Robert Holstein.
