Corruption Alleged At Indian Casino

SANTA ROSA, CALIF. (CN) - A tribal chairman fired the CEO of River Rock Casino to interfere with an audit that would show the chairman, Harvey Hopkins, illegally steered contracts to his own businesses, costing the tribe "tens of millions of dollars," former CEO Norman Runyan claims in Sonoma County Court. The Dry Creek Rancheria band of Pomo Indians runs the casino on tribal land in Geyserville.
