Corporate Negligence Claims Are Time-Barred

NEW ORLEANS (CN) - A Mississippi woman waited too long to sue over her mother's death from breast cancer, allegedly caused by chemicals released from a wood-treatment plant, the 5th Circuit ruled. Under state law, Kenesha Barnes' claims accrued she first learned about the injury, not when she first discovered its cause.
