INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (CN) - Parents missed the burial of their year-old daughter because Kansas City cops dragged the father from the grave, handcuffed him and held him for more than an hour, insisting that he was his brother, though he had copious ID that proved otherwise, the parents claim in Jackson County Court. The cops allegedly told the grieving parents that their daughter "was better off dead than with parents like them," and subjected them to other insults while they forced them to miss the funeral.
